As we gear up for the 51st NPSA conference, we are excited by the large number of paper and panel submissions we have received. Registration is already open and the Conference Program is available. All scheduling information will be posted shortly on our submission site AllAcademic. Anyone whose proposal was accepted or who volunteered to participate as a chair or discussant will receive an email asking to confirm his/her participation.
The international participants should initiate their application for a visa as soon as possible if they need one. If they want an NPSA’s official letter of participation, they should be filling out the letter form available here.
Guided Walking Tour of Philadelphia
We have arranged a private session of The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia since that city is best seen by foot. This is a great way to explore America’s Birthplace. The Constitutional is a 75 minute, 1.25-mile outdoor walking journey which provides an overview of the Independence National Historical Park area and a visit to more than 20 of the most historic sites, including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, The First Bank of the United States and more. The cost for the tour is $20.00. You can pay for it online when you register for the conference. The tour will be at 6-7:15 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
Reserve Your Hotel Room Now!
Our conference hotel is the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District Hotel (400 Arch St.). The discounted conference room rate is $179/night. To get this rate, rooms must be reserved no later than October 7, 2019. Reservations may be made by calling toll free 1-877-999-3223. Ask for the Northeastern Political Science Rate. To receive the discounted rate, the room must be booked no later than November 1, 2019.

United Airlines offers travel discounts to our participants who may book online at united.com. Enter the Z Code ZGV3 and Agreement Code 568220 in the Offer Code box. Those coming from outside the US 50 States & Canada may call their travel agency, book online via united.com or send an email to [email protected] and provide the preferred itinerary, Agreement Code 568220 and the meeting Z Code ZGV3.
Pre-Register at a Substantially Discounted Rate
All participants and attendees are encouraged to pre-register for the conference and take advantage of substantial pre-registration discounts. Participants who pre-register should present their printed receipt at the registration desk at the Conference. Everyone is encouraged to attend all 3 days of the conference so as not to miss many interesting panels and special events.
