The 52nd Annual Conference Goes Virtual

After careful consideration and a great deal of discussion, NPSA’s Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual meeting in Boston. Instead, we will be holding a one-day virtual conference on Saturday November 7, 2020. Registration is open until October 31. Click here to register now.

We want to assure you that the decision to cancel the 2020 meeting in Boston  was not made lightly. Given the pandemic’s uncertain course and our overriding concern for the health and safety of our members, we simply were not confident in proceeding with a large in-person gathering. As states’ mandates and universities’ policies are restricting opportunities for academic travel, reliable travel planning will be difficult and likely to adversely affect the final attendance and participation. Since NPSA is committed to providing a quality conference experience, we decided that a transition to a virtual event would best serve the interests of our members.

We hope that you will join us on Saturday, November 7 for the one-day virtual conference which will consist of a mix of prerecorded and live Zoom sessions on selected topics of broad interest to our members.  See the detailed conference program and  click here to register. The conference registration fee of just $50.00 will include a one-year membership in NPSA and a subscription to Polity for the year. After you register, you will receive information on how to access all conference panels. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
