2024 Call For Participation – Boston

Boston 2022 Panel

The Northeastern Political Science Association
56th Annual Meeting
November 14-16, 2024
Boston, MA

The Northeastern Political Science Association will hold its 56th Annual meeting on November 14-16, 2024 in Boston at the historic Omni Parker Hotel.

NPSA strives to offer a friendly environment for a scholarly exchange of ideas at reasonable registration rates. It is a welcoming and inclusive space for faculty members and students from a wide range of institutions.

You may upload at our Allacademic submission site your paper, panel, or roundtable proposal, as well as indicate your availability to serve as a panel chair or discussant. We always need volunteers to serve as panel chairs and discussants. Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to submit proposals.

If you do not already have a free account in Allacademic, create one.

The submission deadline is April 15, 2024.

Only one paper submission per person is allowed. However, a paper presenter may also serve as a chair and/or discussant on other panels or as a roundtable participant; faculty members may serve in the additional role of mentor for undergraduate research. Please submit your paper or panel proposal to the appropriate Section Chair.

NPSA will award travel grants by lottery to two graduate students who register for, and participate in, the annual meeting in Boston. Names will be randomly selected at the conference; each student will receive a check for $150 to help offset expenses associated with attending the conference.

Registration for the Annual Conference opens every year on September 1.  Membership also can be renewed at the same time. Discounted rates will be available between September 1 and October 31st.

Travel accommodations can be arranged any time by the attendees.

Please note that there is no AV equipment (screen projection) available at the conference. Presenters may bring printed handouts to share.
