COVID-19 Requirements
With the constantly evolving Covid-19 and after consultations with our health and safety partner and association leadership, we decided to update NPSA’s attendance policy to require that anyone wishing to attend the NPSA Annual Meeting must provide proof of having been fully vaccinated against the virus. Fully vaccinated means 14 days have passed since the final dose was administered.
Attendees will be admitted to the NPSA Annual Meeting only with a proof of having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
For acceptable vaccines, international attendees can follow the World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidance. For any questions regarding the WHO vaccinations accepted by NPSA or questions about valid vaccination documents, please email Jeffrey Kraus at [email protected]. If you plan to show international proof of vaccination onsite, please email Jeffrey Kraus to confirm that it meets the criteria.
We recognize that there are global vaccine inequities and that our policy may unfortunately affect the ability of some of our international colleagues to attend the event. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the CDC do not recommend travel until the person is fully vaccinated.
NPSA strongly recommends masking at the meeting.
Department of State Guidelines on COVID-19 Travel Restrictions and NIEs: There are currently no geographic COVID-19 entry ban proclamations in effect.
CDC International Travel Recommendations for Before, During, and After a Trip: Masks are required on planes, buses, trains, and other methods of transport. Be sure to check your own country’s policies for your return.

Visa Waiver Programs
Participants coming from a Visa Waiver Country, must meet all the requirements listed on the State Department’s page, and must ensure tha the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is up to date and have an e-passport ready to use.
