NORTHEASTERN POLITICAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATION

48th Annual Meeting

November 10-12, 2016

Boston, MA

Call for Papers and Participation

The Northeastern Political Science Association will hold its 48th annual meeting on November 11 - 13, 2016 at the Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston, MA.  Submissions are invited for papers, panels and roundtables no later than June 15, 2016. They must be submitted through the NPSA submission website. Once on the submission website, create a username and password and follow the instructions. E-mail submissions will not be accepted.

NPSA prohibits multiple paper submissions. Only one paper submission per person will be accepted. However, a paper presenter may also serve as a chair or discussant on another panel or as a roundtable participant. If a faculty member sponsors an undergraduate research paper, this does not count as the single submission and such faculty member may submit a separate paper to present. Please note: There are no facilities for PowerPoint, or other types of projection, during NPSA panels.

Questions should be directed to the appropriate Program Section Chair or the conference Program Chair. All conference information is available on the NPSA website  (www.northeasternpsa.com), which is regularly updated.  We also encourage you to volunteer as panel chair and/or discussant.

The submission site will be available through the NPSA website in late February 2016.

A Travel Grants will be awarded by lottery draw to two graduate students who register and participate in the conference.  The drawing will be done at the conference. Each lucky winner will receive a check for $150.

The conference hotel is Omni Parker House Hotel. A special conference room rate of $245/night is available through October 10, 2016 under the group name Northeastern Political Science Association, and can be made by calling 617-227-8600. Your reservation should be guaranteed for late arrival (after 6:00 PM). You must cancel the reservation by 6:00 PM of the day of arrival in order not to be charged.
